1. Purpose

This policy ensures that all fundraising activities are conducted with integrity, accountability, and respect for our supporters and beneficiaries.

    Every rupee raised will be tracked, documented, and utilized strictly for the purpose for which it was intended.

All methods will be conducted lawfully and in compliance with relevant financial and charitable regulations.

4. Use of Funds

Funds raised will be utilized strictly for:

  • Program implementation and beneficiary support

  • Capacity building and skill development initiatives

  • Administrative costs essential to efficient functioning (capped at a reasonable percentage)

An annual report will disclose detailed allocation of funds.

5. Donor Rights

  • Independent audits will be conducted annually to ensure financial integrity.

7. Conflict of Interest

Think Bengal will not accept donations that:

  • Require endorsement of harmful practices, products, or services

  • Conflict with the organization’s mission, values, or independence

  • Come from sources linked to exploitation, discrimination, or unethical practices

8. Review & Amendments

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees to ensure it remains aligned with evolving best practices, legal requirements, and the values of Think Bengal.
